Are There Risks Associated with Clinical Trials?
Side effects and discomforts associated with the treatment will depend upon the study you participate in. If at any time you experience any changes or discomfort, Dr. Horn will evaluate your eyes to determine if you should continue in the study, and appropriate therapy will be initiated.
Can I Participate in Clinical Trials?
Dr. Horn will see you for an evaluation to determine if participation in a study would be appropriate for you. If participation is recommended, the advantages and disadvantages of the study, along with all the other details, will be explained to you prior to your joining a clinical trial.
