Most people choose multifocal or accommodating lenses for their cataract surgery because they want to spend more of their day without glasses.  The chart above demonstrates the near vision improvement patients experienced after cataract surgery with ReSTOR, Tecnis and Crystalens, after having the same lens implanted in both eyes as reported in FDA Clinical Trials.  The chart below shows the percentage of time our own patients say they need glasses for near, mid-range and distance tasks after lens implantation, as reported in our Lens Satisfaction survey.
